Guidelines for Schedule Changes:
July 8th was the deadline to make changes to student's course requests for the 24-25 school year. After July 8th, schedule change requests
will only be honored for the following reasons:
- Course failure resolution (a student failed a course in the 2023-2024 school year
and must retake it, thus removing something from their schedule).
- An open period that must be filled other than an assigned lunch period.
- A missing course request.
- Post-High School Plan Change (a student changes their desired major in college or
changes their career path and wants to take courses to better prepare them for the
new path).
If your request falls within the permissible guidelines, please complete the and your counselor will contact you to let you know if the request can be accommodated. Please note that students must follow their assigned schedule for 5 school days before any changes will be made. Only schedule change requests for the reasons listed above will be accommodated starting on Thursday September 12th, 2024.
Students are permitted to withdraw from classes, without penalty, for the first 4 weeks of
school. If a student chooses to withdraw after the 4-week window, they will receive a WP
(Withdrawn Passing) or a WF (Withdrawn Failing) based on their grades at the time of
withdrawal. The last day that students may request to withdraw from class, without penalty, is
Monday October 7th, 2024.
We will be strictly following these deadlines to maintain appropriate class sizes to continue to
offer the wide variety of programs that we do.

If you are a ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ North graduate and need your high school transcript sent to a college or employer, please call Mrs. Nye in the Guidance Office at 631-471-1400 ext 5510. Mrs. Nye will provide you with the instructions on how to obtain your high school transcript.
